Thank you ladyinwaiting. I do not think of myself as much of a poet--prose is my stock in trade. My current situation is hypoteneuse in a scalene love triangle. Funny how poetry can give wings to even a worn-down soul.

B.K. and Trout~ I love to see your passion. Maybe others should be aware that it is passion for feelings and not real animosity totally. Too easily online to just ignore someone we really dislike. Trout, you endeared yourself to me with a few posts. One like: If Not For You ... I also admire B.K.'s constant and real devotion. I believe we would all like a better world without true heartache. I'm afraid I am becoming militantly cynical where ALL politics/politicians are concerned. It's too bad that no one represents the disconnected or the disaffected. Nothing in politics has a thing to do with love. And it never did.
Exactly. Well put, Kev and Rennie. We Blenderites should be more like those two opposing lawyers who argue a case passionately in court and then meet for drinks afterward. Civility must return to rational discourse. After all, what we're really here for is literature - not geopolitics. Clean & sober, this becomes quite apparent to me. All apologies, mis amigos....
