Tonight at work while gritting my teeth/clenching my fists, I came up with one of my dream cd ideas. I posted a couple of different dream cds at xanga awhile back, complete with dream cd covers. The name I thought up for the newest cd was "Angry Little White Chick" but then I decided that is way too common. So I changed the title to "CHOMP! (more sugar, Daddy)." If you xanga, you will find my dream cd cover there...it's an incredible by a painter whose work I discovered via Google. I think I typed "bizarre paintings" into the engine. Anyway, when I have enough money to be self-indulgent I'm going to buy some studio time and lay this baby down. I'll only submit the remotely romance related lyrics here. "Traffic Sucks" doesn't qualify but "George Bush, I Would Party Witcha" just might.

Darwin~ I also enjoyed this work. When I first married, I lived ten floors up and overlooking a major part of the city where I had lived for so long. I could look in the distance and see many points I knew intimately over the years. I could look down at some checkerboard streets and see the bluelights flashing like a surreal pacman game gone awry. I also overlooked buildings that still contained old friends and former lovers. Your work shed new light and brought back old memories. Thanks for that. Good work once again. Glad to see you writing at Blender ..... Rennie

Misti~ A very wise grandmother often told me that I should take ALL experiences as learning experiences. That probably saved me getting into trouble from taking some of my customers and clients and tying them in a knot and dribbling them. I've combined many of them into single characters in stories over the years. An easy life gets boring. I once told an aggravating client I imagined him dipped in chocolate (which intrigued him)...and fed to 'gators, which bothered him enough to ask to meet me in person. His caustic personality on the phone turned into a lively wit and long-term friend in person. I realize I have far more latitude in answering the phone with a "how may I grovel to you today" instead of a "how may I serve you" by owning the company. However, I often did that in my head while working for others. Kept me smiling instead of developing a teeth gritting case of TMJ. You are a great writer. I am sure you will turn all the BS in your life into writing fodder for us to read in the future. Getting published involves selling yourself so others can be enthusiastic in marketing you successfully. Don't just sell those folks a bra, sell them the store. These folks will be your greatest fans when you are being interviewed on Leno. You'll even learn to like one or two of them. It's great practice for the future. At least, you have these folks to joke about. I come from a time when the air was clean and we permanently polluted it by burning bras and girdles. Who knew some chica Victoria would insist on making the durned stuff almost comfortable. Okay, yeah-rah-siss-boom-bah--enough muse abuse for the day. I'll aggravate her enough to call you for a bra or nag you into some poetry :). Bush (party witcha) and The Garden Party...that's not mesquite I smell smoking over there? Rummy Reads and Aspasia Tells All (look where ole Socrates ended up after listening to her) ... that's all I'm hearing from friends lately. These old farts have gone from interesting to writing like they are only high on chicory instead of life. Refreshing to see your view each time ..... Rennie

Did you read Servant of the Bones and Interview with the Vampire? I love all of it. And the Interview with the Vampire movie is great (but not as great as the book).
