Good one, Misti, on how ya'll started... I don't see the sleaze, either. If I'd meet Rebecca two months ago, it probably would have been me everyone was coming down on and you'd no doubt have been on the phone every other day with MY parents! Believe it. Breakups like ours don't just happen. They happen for good reasons - ones you've articulated very well. But, at this point, anyone who has sermons - for either of us - can just shove 'em, actually. God may be watching, but He can change the channel.

LOL. If God is watching, he is in sad need of a LIFE. I wonder if He's bummed out over "Friends" ending. I like what George Lopez said about it on the radio this morning. It's less white people on TV. Less skinny overpaid white people, I might add. I watched a few episodes over the years. I never understood the hype. I liked when Lisa Kudrow played the guitar and sang goofy songs, though. Thank you for your support and empathy. I dreamed of your mom last night, by the way. There was this huge Christmas tree and all these presents and some of them had my name on them but I knew I wouldn't get them because your family hates me. Hope you have a kick ass weekend. I start my new schedule on Monday.

Yeah, what the hell's up with Friends, anyway? Never got that one. <BR>

They don't hate you... It's all good. You're happy, I'm happy, everybody wins. And you're right - God needs a life if He's concerned about our soap opera drama. And why would God - if He exists in the first place - want two people to be desperately unhappy ANYWAY? Ah, don't get me started.

Well, if you buy into alla that Judeo-Christian crap, David from the Old Testament was a "man after God's own heart," and look at all his wives and girlfriends. Look at Bathsheba. And God loved the hell outta the guy. Jesus was a descendant of David's, supposedly. That's all irrelevant. No one should limp along in a marriage or relationship for the sake of honor or whatever. How idiotic is that? I look around these days and I see so many people who are together for the wrong reasons. There's no fire, no passion, no ebullience whatsoever, but by golly there are SUVs and nice houses and Hawaii/Vegas vacations. Some people live in the comfort zone their entire lives and that's fine for them. I've sleptwalk through life long enough. On the drive to Michael's last night we heard dogs barking and out of the blue I said,"Dogs don't know that their lives suck" and Michael said,"So they don't suck." Well, a lot of people have lives that suck but they don't know it so I guess their lives in essence don't actually suck. And I was telling Michael that Donald Trump would probably look at us and say,"Their lives suck. They live from paycheck to paycheck. Poor peons." But I wouldn't fuck Donald Trump. I wouldn't want to be his girlfriend or wife. I'm glad your family doesn't hate me. I wish your dad would send me a postcard from Peru.

p.s. I think "sleptwalk" should actually be "sleepwalked"<BR>

I certainly agree with you Misti, about staying together for the wrong reasons. Without passion how can there be 'life'. The American dream of happy family and hot tub sure didn't work for me. Too bad it took almost 16 years for me to get wise. I'll never 'settle' again.
