Thanks gals for the welcome back, I'm happy to see that you're all still here, it's like seeing a familiar face again in the crowd. :-). Hey CS58, I'm curious to know how I helped you become a part of the Blender?
Thank you for enjoying my submission, perhaps now I should become a blinged out rapper? I think I would call myself Jon-Ice or maybe just use the letter "J" as my name. I think I would call my first album "Luvblenda". ;-)
Kirk, (Thanks a bunch) you are so right; quantity is not quality. This is a lovely issue you all, most of which I am reading for the first time. Congratulations and Cheers to you all!

Kirk; The ramble has some excellent questions that you might want to use on the question board for everyone here. I think you will find the older you get the harder it is to face the dating world. It gets new twists and turns with every age. Yet the adventureous amongst us, the strong of heart can always make it through and survive.

Sorry I didn't not get to read and or comment on last months poems earlier, it's just my rage against the political machine (This poor Bushwacked country) is ongoing and taking my mind and passion at the moment. But as Ahnold says "I'll be back!"
CONGRATS to all the front page picks...nice work as always.

go aparajita!!! and a soon to be HAPPY BIRTHDAY...

kirk ~ i agree with bk...dating does get a little more difficult the older you get...the expectations are different...most of us have been burned once or twice by then so we are more reserved about sharing our emotions...after all the fire is hot and can cause pain...however, risk we must...if you are secure in who you are then usually things go well and you can part as friends...sometimes easier said than done...but the best part of it all is you learn something new about yourself with each encounter...best of luck to you...

Hey Ya'll; Speaking of the adventureous amongst us. I got a call from Rennie.(I have missed her so much) She has been on an incredible cross country trip and is now out in California. She and the Captain are sailing the ocean and their love and dreams together. I think they will be going to Mexico and then on to Hawaii for the winter. She sends hello's to everyone here.

Kirk; She said to tell you she is wearing her blender t-shirt always. She misses us but will be back to tell and write about it one of these days. (I got so excited just talking to her, she sounds so happy and it's wonderful to hear her that way)

Rens; We love and miss you Dahlink; keep in touch and know we are with you all the way. (keep a journal and tell us all about it one of these days will ya?) Kisses to you and the Capt.
