Hey Spangler, what a fantastic site, I got some huge laughs out of it. Guaranteeing salvation since 1612! beautiful. Accept Christ and get a free Playstation 2!Unbelievable. Tampons, the Devils little Cotton fingers? K'chang!!! All tongue in cheek i'm sure, especially the "speak to me in tongues" religious thong, lol, awesome. Got anymore crazy sites like that?

haven't checked my email yet, but thanks for sendin' me the recipe! I'm slowly building up my basic kitchen supplies thanks to my family (when I left my ex-husband I literally left everything behind)and can't wait to start baking again.
Thank you so much. I haven't felt too good about a lot of my recent poems. I've had a couple of poems from last spring and summer published in the last two issues of Central Avenue. If you have time you should go to the readings...first Thursday of each month at Winnings on Harvard. I went last month but didn't go this month. Parking is a bitch in that area and it was so cold last week. Plus, Michael is on crutches. Sometimes he's even in a wheelchair. But he said we won't miss another reading from here on out.

BK, misti, and gala,
I appreciate your comments...be careful when you broil the top of the cake...one time i left it in there too long and it was literally flaming! I had to make another one, but it's really fast for a scratch cake...
aparajita, thanks for sending that recipe to misti for me :-)...hope you sent it to gala too...have you ever made cupcakes with the recipe? I was thinking about trying to make that recipe but with cupcakes to add to the Christmas baskets that I am making for Christmas gifts...
I had to email my mom and ask her what it means to "broil until bubbly." I've never used a broiler before.

Ok so you have raw eggs in the icing and you broil it so you don't kill yourself with botulism haha. But it's not so hard tho I haven't made one in years. I think it's funny that we are all talking about the same cake.

I also make the ghiradelli brownie recipe on the back of the double choc chip bag (tho I preffer their ground choc) stuff it full of nuts and they are to die for.

I can feel the calories creeping round just thinking about all this sweet stuff. The trick is to make if for crowds and barely eat a bite yourself. (take teeny tiny bites)

(tomorrow I'm back in the gym and maybe get my second free trainer session to torture me a bit so I won't eat ha) I love to cook too. I'm lending out all my cookie cutters so I won't buy a ton of butter and bake cookies.
Besides cooking the raw egg it semi-carmalizes the topping for the oatmeal cake. It's to die for yumsville.
