I'm in South Carolina and it was 17 degrees last night. No snow, just freaking cold wind. My heating pad doubled as a foot and hand warmer last night. I put blankets in the clothes dryer and stayed toasty.

Gala - ten degrees, you say? When I got up it was -10 here, and it barely hit 0 today. Now if anyone is entitled to hot chocolate or Irish coffee it's moi :)

On the plus side, it made it a good day to stay inside and get all the Christmas goodies made (except the fudge, that's tomorrow). Yum yum yum.

Hmm...yeah...that's one of many reasons I don't miss the Northeast very much. Currently 53 degrees and sunny (what else?!) here in Albuquerque.
Happy Holidays, everyone!
