Rennie...ummmm..."pieced unsquarely" was, from me, actually a compliment. I hate o'er-tidy packages, and I loved the quilted effect of this one. (I think I'm on pseudophed again...)

I'm smiling here willtobe1, but in the most appreciative way at your zest for critiquing. I need to go back and read some of your work, to know exactly what you're referring to, but I am flattered that you feel my work has reminded you of things you have submitted. :) If indeed I had some "seussian things" going on there its merely accident. When I think back of the thoughts I had in mind at the time I wrote that submit, poor Dr Seuss would certainly hate the comparison I'm sure. I'm grateful for the privilege to use words to express my inner most feelings, and bless the entities that keep mine as kind as possibly, cause trust me on this one, that particular submit was not born out of loving, caring, Dr Seuss sweetness, but more like the wrath of hell.

I may have tripped over my own eruditions of verbosity if I led you to believe (as I believe I did from a reread) that the Rubaiyat thingy was mine -- it predates me I think by several centuries.
Your work was delightfully Seussian in style and meter, but the darker tone and feeling was most palpable.
