bk... lotsa love and hugs, happy thoughts and prayers are being sent eastward for you and all of your family. you know how to reach me if you need. i was a hospice nurse for 8 years and value that experience more than any other in my career. i also had my father and mother in hospice. so i truly can relate. take care of you.

Thanks for friendships here, both male and female. We all pull together in support, even across the miles and oceans, when things get rough as so many of the older blenderites already know. Ali, about Would it Help if I Asked You Not to?: I was in this situation, and you know something? For as much in common as I feel we have, I didn't have the patience and ,maybe, enough love left in me to hold on. I didn't take a step back, really. I walked away. I'm sure there were enough differences to warrant the walking away (he bordered on verbally abusive, frankly), but my survival instinct kicked in, and is probably my strongest instinct. I may be a romantic, but I am a survivor first. Hang in there, babe. I promise you, it'll get better. Take care of you.

Thanks Ya'll; Mom got her hospital bed moved in and the nurses came to call and will be back again tomorrow. She is getting weaker and is giving up I fear.
But she has had such a rich life with Dad, lots of travel and a family that adores her. She will leave this earth knowing that she is well respected and loved.
