BK, thanks for asking!! My mom is recovering, slowly but surely. She and my Dad relocated to a house close to the hospital where she gets all her varous therapies.
She's not able to use the right side of her body, although she is walking slowly with a cane.
The main thing is she can't talk. Can't even write. Lots of gesturing and makeshift sign-language, charade-type communication. It's pretty awful. But she's slowly getting her cognitive skills back. Long road. Hard work. But she's a strong, stubborn woman.
