Wow you really hit a chord of truth with
this line -
"glad to know that your life is moving on. the cheaters life always does..."
I have seen this so many times.
Those who love deeply - either don't
move on - or they take a long time
to recover before doing so.
But then the cheaters - they are so
used to jumping from bed to bed that
they already have someone new - even
before the relationship is over.
I saw my Mom like that - She cried,
while my Dad was having a good time.
She never dated after they broke up,
while he kept jumping from woman to
woman, until he got too old to.
I swore, I'd never be like my Mom.
Just because I didn't want to hurt
like she did. I was determined not
to let any man do that to me.
I guess you just got to find something
in between. Don't be a bed hopper
or cheater, but then on the other hand,
don't let anyone destroy your spirit
either.

Your first stanza is so provocatively
descriptive. It made me feel excited
with the way you worded the crisp
fall of September. I just really
like that first stanza, and the way
you described the birds and bees.
If I read it again - I'll want to
go outside and run around in the crisp breeze.
My favorite is - "a long throned rose"
wow - how clever.

I had to read this prose twice before
I fully got the sense of it.
And I got chills when I realized
what you were saying.
Wonderful - I still got the
goosebumpy thing going.
I just read it again.
It's really good writing.
