sush~ thanks again. I understand the reasons behind some of the antics, and the driving force from your previous brief explanations. I do pay attention. I've just been AWOL part of the time here, so I missed seeing the earlier stuff. My intro to it was the comments made to Rhett about her artist's statement. Hence, my comments at the time ... just an opinion (for what it was worth ... lol). I believe in community consensus. Kuhuna Kirk Webmaster has the real kill key on any of this stuff. I don't care if it's you, Rhett or Bob Wise posting here, I just like to see some effort at getting along with creative verbs other than cuss words. Too easy for me to say something like, "blue, advice? Get a grip(!)(?) ..." ... see what I mean, sush? :) hardly good ole kindly cookie-baking "mom" here. Illegal dysfunctional behavior on the board or new subs won't wash with me because of landmark cases over it now. I really haven't seen you cross those boundaries in MY time here. You are old enough, I am aware, to understand that statement, where some here aren't. Sush, I love the good humor. However, laughter and humor often conceal pain. Carol (and all those who might take things personally) ~ It might help you to understand that when a person makes suggestions, for example...sticking to the general theme of the Love Blender, or makes a criticism of a work here, it is not necessarily a refelection on how they feel about you as a person. In fact, most people here don't KNOW anyone else here as a person, only as a 'pen'. If insults are flying about, it is only a reflection of the insulter and their intellect, and not a reflection on the inherent worth of the insultee.
And just for a 'what-the-hey'...the technical denotation of criticism is as follows; "1: the act of criticizing; esp. censure 2: a judgement or review 3: the art of judging works of literature or art".
One thing I had to learn in life was to form my own opinion of myself and the things I do, say and write. I have done that, so now, the things that others may think about me are relatively inconsequential in regard to my esteem of myself. Of course, I keep an open mind and listen closely to what people have to say, but I have the ability to take what is useful and insightful and forget the rest. I just wanted to say this, as your note on your last submission said, "y'll are justing going to bitch cuz i put this shit up here.. dont read if u dont like me i just felt like posting". I want you to know that even if I didn't like what you wrote, I can't possibly have an opinion about you as a person.
