ladyinwaiting~ well, this applies today: "out of groceries, out of sorts, time to get myself in gear and get out of here for some chow. I'd complain, but I think I've just done it :). Hope the glue is holding with you. Hang in there. ONE thing is always certain. (Like tanq's tontine, do we want to be the last one standing?) The rest is an adventure or torture, reading life written by Nabokov or Seusse, enjoying our friends or cutting ourselves loose. Rehearse it, or free verse it. Life will always change. Sometimes the flip-side is better, or more disarranged." (to loosely quote myself from something written years ago). Have we said it All when we start repeating or quoting ourselves? I've felt better ... and you? ..... Rennie

B.K.~ nah, all I've got is some V8. Revenuers blew-up the four-barrel 'still so long ago that it'd be safer to drink 'shine from an antique radiator IF we knew how to make it, and the water in the creek was still safe. All these fish belly-up in it tell me it ain't. I was trying to write last night, with the tree frogs singing like Sting on a case of Jolt, or Blenderites after Kirk for the new Digest. I was gonna make a deadline when the Verizon Man called me four times with that "can you hear me now" bit. I thought it was the editor or publisher playing one on me to see I didn't win a bet with them. I invited this "Verizon" guy over. It may have been the V8 that's a bit ripe after I left it in the truck overnight. I'm still writing this morning, and he can't hear me now; he needs CPR ..... Maggie (hush, Maggie!) ...... Rens: HAHAHAHAHA you make me laugh so hard. The last stil I saw was way out in them there hills and the guy burning it had one tooth and a spittoon and he could hit that thing all the way across the porch. Dead eye one tooth I called him. He laughed but mom and dad didn't think it was very funny and kept telling me to be quiet and quit asking what that strange thing in the back yard was that was burning and smelling so strange. They said we were kin to him somehow but I never got the jest of it how.
Honey Pie you know we all love you here and you can come to us with it anytime. You take good care of Yourself! By the way, I love all your collections. You should see all the strange stuff I have around here ha (I collect too) I think I have a million baskets and about that many tablecloths and then there's the antique books and pictures and frames. If I bring home one more I am going to die of dust mites ha but there's one more in the back seat of my car right now just itching to get in..sigh (when will I learn)
