Misti,
Give Tawny Port by Sheffield or Taylor a try...It's cheap & high alcohol content but a sweeter wine...I learned of it while serving on an altar guild (I'm a little episcopal girl). The priest chooses the wine for communion because he is the one that must consume it if there's any left over afterwards...if any red seems too strong, add a couple of cubes of ice or a dab of water...I have been tasting wine for over four years and there are so many differences in them...also, i have learned that there is something to letting them breathe, swirling and smelling them before you take a sip...My favorites are italian wines made by Santa Margarita...my favorite red is a merlot and my favorite white is pinot grigio...also there's big differences between champagne and I have found that Korbel is one of my favorites and is one of the less expensive ones...
Norah Jones is also one of my favorites...are there any guys out there that likes her?
Jack...Jack...Jack...so no wasting away in Margarittaville?
thanks! I'll give those a go. There's a local vineyard that I'm planning on touring with my husband in the near future. It's good to know these things before I go.

In October a friend/coworker of mine is visiting serveral wineries in TEXAS (that's where you live, right?)...first, she is going to the beerfest in a german town...i think New Brunsfeld, but I could be wrong on which town...she went a couple of years ago and she says that if you get a special ticket and have it stamped at each winery you get some kind of gift, discount or something...Anyway, you might have already heard about the ticket...She is planning to bring me back some cool wooden bread knife from the german festival and a couple bottle of wines from the Texas Hill Country...Keep me posted on your visit?
New Braunfels? I lived in various towns in the hill country...Kerrville, Fredericksburg and San Marcos for college. Oh, and San Antonio and Austin. I went to Schlitterbahn in New Braunfels once and I've done other things there. I don't miss the German flavor but I miss the water. I'm in Albuquerque, New Mexico now...the high desert. I was surprised when my husband told me there's a winery here. I'll let ya know how it goes and what kind of wine we decide on.
Kirk~ Thanks so much for the pick again this month. I've enjoyed revisiting these other picks and reading the additional Garrison Keillor info. I used to enjoy catching some of his programs on cable when I had a chance. Humor and smiles go a long way in any friendship and relationship. There is great joy in finding someone you are passionate with, and can also be a kid exploring life with, Kirk. I enjoyed seeing some of his advice along these lines ..... Rennie

TJ
It's like a leper telling a person with a cold they are dirty and unsanitary. This doesn't involve you. I only care for my children and what is best for them. I would challenge you to dispute that fact. I don't care what you and danica-"Angel" do, it's not my concern. I only care for my children. I would like to be above your doldrums and I hope you realize you are in NO position to tell me how to be a good parent or keep a lasting relationship. Oh and lets not get into the fat thing. You leave A LOT of material to cover. Thank you for your unauctioned time. GOOD STUFF.
PS, TJ you know my phone number if you would like to discuss things further. Of course you won't. Have a good night sweet-heart. By the way, I think everyone here, on this site, has made the connection between "pseudo-intellectual" with you (being TJ). If you haven't I worked with her and she is dumb as a post. Seriously cyclone fense type. I have witnessed her physically writing poems, and she has to ask for opinions. I have even seen her copy other works and claim them as her own. Look at the one she wrote about Oedipus the King. She hadn't even heard of Sophocles and his works until I let her read my book. No skill. I will back you up on that BK. I was trying to be nice but lordy, lordy, lordy. TJ, try out for the REAL WORLD or Big Brother because every show needs a "token" deep thinker. You have no concept of philosophy. Your not even well read. I like to dance, so at this point in our juncture, if you would like to tango, give me a call so that we don't have to drag the love struck folk on this sight into your giddy-up. By the way talk to your other and remind her who she is talking to before she brings up "critical thinking" psssst TJ you haven't even got to that class yet, and you haven't shown the ability to do so....yet. Kisses (big kisses),----LEAMAS

Sorry to everyone on this site. I will try to keep everything negative off of this site. I finally went zen with this sites topic and then TJ woud showed up with something that would cause me to waste your time. Sorry again. By the way the last message was a run-on.--LEAMAS

And if you are going to accuse a person of plagarism, you need to back it up. You ought to do that here and now, seeing as how you have accused me of such. I suggest you hurry up with that, because I don't take kindly to those sorts of lies, my 'friend'. And the repercussions could be bigger than anticipated.
I've been keeping a low profile here lately, as I get disgusted when the Blender becomes an upheaval of discord, and always regret being any part of it. Now tonight you scream in here and go off like some crazy freakazoid and blow things up again. You've been over here a few times, and you never talk your shit in person. Time to step up.

And because these "poor love struck folk" don't have a clue what the hell you just went off about, I invite you to...1) Back up your accusation of plagarism with some proof. And then, when you come up empty handed, make a public apology. And 2) Stop by the house. I'll listen to your intelligent rantings, as best as my 'dumb' mind can assimilate them. And then I'll tell you a few thoughs of my own. As vapid as they may be.
