Thanks for the reassurance...and I never get tired hearing about people digging the Blender.
Heheheh...if I'm that worried, maybe I should smarten up the comments display page so instead of just always showing the last 3 days, if it's less than like 5 or 10 comments, it goes back 'til it can show 5 or 10 comments, thus making the board look busy ;-)
kirk: i would like to add to the praises... thank you so much for having this site. and, thanks especially to being sensitive to the ones of us that only want to be here for the love, romance and poetry. i appreciate the fact that you made a separate board for the heated discussions that were frankly distracting to say the least. i think the blender is a wonderful refuge and am grateful for it many times over. and, now, i can come back here to reflect instead of wading through all the negativity as before. whew... a relief beyond measure.

Ditto on the refuge, I find peace here, even when the poetry jars my senses and breaks my heart. It's a comfort to know that there are others who feel the same.

kirk ~ i agree with all the above...i have found refuge here for a while now and pray to continue for many years to come...my life is a little hectic right now...had to fly my daughters boyfriend out by air due to an injury and that is keeping me tied up a bit...plus i have one sis that just left her husband and my other sis just went nuts...ran off with another man...geez!...but steveki and i are doing great...i am so lucky!! and aparajita and i are planning a ladies night out...massage by day and norah jones by night (can't wait)...so as you can tell between the inlaws and outlaws things are crazy and i am long over due for the escape...but it will calm...all things do and i will be back on a more regular basis...please keep the peaceful spot for me to run to...and how about those red sox??? think they'll make it this year, i mean with the spell being broken and all??? or maybe your a yankee fan!!
have to share this story...daughters bf is 15...well don't all 15 y/o boys dream of having a ladies legs wrapped around their head (area where larger brain is stored)??? or so i would think...anyway when you fly by medflight the space is very limited and the nurse does have to literally wrap her legs around your upper torso inorder to fit (by the way aparjita the flight nurse was stamatis! i was relieved to visit with her and know the boy was in good hands or legs!)...anyway the boy in his demeral haze ask her if she was married!! go figure...and then ask her to come down there (his brain area) with him because he was bored...can you believe that...legs around his head and he's bored!!!...all his friends are joking him...wanted to know what he would have done had she joined him...just wanted to share this it was to cute!!
hey lady... omg, i had no idea this was happening in your life! it would figure that she'd be the flight nurse and that it would be a story to tell for years to come. funny how we've all evolved isn't it, yet, we stay connected in some cosmic way.
soon, very very soon... one month from yesterday in fact!!! i can not wait. going to new orleans next week for 9 days... go me.

strange how fast time escapes us...i visited with schlicker last week...and her baby girl is graduating...god, i remember her first steps...and i remember your baby girl in her tutu getting ready for kindergarden...and my baby girl was still cutting teeth at that time and stamatis' baby girl was just arriving into this world...omg it's been a life time...what fun we've had...from pretending to be cone heads in the er to working side by side during trauma to best friends through the thick and thin of it all even as we all went our seperate ways...where does the time go...sounds like a poem coming up...us and our girls...

what is a g mail account?
Google has g-mail and you have to have an invitation to get an account. It has a very large amount of space in it and I like giving these invitations to artists and creative minds that will use them. It won't be open to the public for another few months. I have a few more if anyone is interested.
