Misti ~ The Peterson case was so close to home - they both went to college and owned a business here. It's been an 'in your face' story nonstop for 2 years. I think most of this area thought he'd get off (especially after the O.J. outcome), so it was a restoration of faith in the CA justice system for this area.
I'm sorry, scqueen. I didn't mean to be insensitive about it. Of course I'm glad they nailed the bastard. I don't believe in the death penalty because too many innocent people are killed that way. I hope Scott Peterson grows old in prison and gets it in the ass until he has no asshole left.

I hear 23 hour lock down is a possibility. So maybe no reaming---but life in solitary confinement? Sounds about right. He looks like a nice healthy young animal.

Misti, the legal/justice system in America is the finest on the planet, bar NONE. To say something ridiculous like your comment shows enormous bias and ignorance. Yes there are problems, we don't live in a vacuum or a perfect world. The exceptions prove the rule - America's justice system has been and will always be the greatest on the planet. Yep, lots of lawyers are crooks etc etc etc.
May Scott Peterson burn in Hell repeatedly, while God and only God can or will have mercy on his soul.
I am really sick and tired of all the stupid carping people do about our country. If you have a gripe or commitment to make a difference, then save the inane Blender posts and go get an education and do something about YOUR society (other than bitching and moaning, like somehow that makes a difference or makes you somehow superior or faultless).
OJ should've already been dead by now... hence one of those exceptions to my rule of American superiority. There is a far greater justice that OJ will have visited upon him (and I wouldn't mind knowing that Mister Johnny Cochran will be right there with OJ sucking up the flames and noxious fumes of Hell)!
If we lived in a perfect vacuum world, the death penalty should be abolished. But REALITY dictates otherwise... the death penalty pales in comparison to the horrors perpetrated by violent animalistic souless creatures like Scott Peterson. A-fuckin-men!
