This is a Great piece. Serving Love by the teaspoon - oh I know that too well. It really sucks when you have so much love to give, but cannot Find a person that can handle it - or who doesn't take it and abuse you with it. I guess a spoon full isn't as great as a gallon - but it is something.

Harem; I've never even once considered the name thing. You know we all grew up singing the song that says red and yellow black and white we are precious in his sight and too many people.. just don't get it. His name is because his father was from Kenya but he is a Christian if that matters. I'm as white southern (raised Church of Christ but got over it) as it gets and at first with the Reverend Wright thing it bothered me... and.. I will be the first to tell you I wanted Hillary Clinton in office and that made me madder than a hatter too. I soon realized Reverend Wright and Barack Hussein Obama had different ideas on life and running this country. Harem it's just that we need Change in the worst way. We can't have a senile old man with a wife in her three hundred thousand dollar outfits (while the rest us are having a hard time with the gas prices and food) It smacks of "Let them eat cake." if you remember your French history, and or a woman that shoots moose and bears from a plane and thinks it will only take 2000 acres to drill Alaska (that's the amount of land it will take to put the pumps in not counting what they will ruin getting in and out and around) and or can see Russia from her bedroom window running this country. We are already a laughing stock in the world and this would just cinch it. Plus four more years of Bush thinking will put us under. This country is in ruins from the last eight years of Republican thinking. We need change!
Let me put it this way. If you had to have a stomach operation and there was a Doctor with a Harvard degree and his associate with high marks different school and then a woman with a degree from ding dong school and an old guy that graduated fifth from the bottom of his class and had crashed five planes in his lifetime which would you feel most comfortable letting cut you open. Now take that and apply it to this country and the wounds we have now. It will takes brains to run this country and regain the respect we need not sock puppetry.

But my boss told me yesterday, that either way that the voting goes, America is going to break records this year. So much political propaganda is a joke...
Here's my two cents:
the fact of the matter is "we" as Americans need a class act middle class American in the white house plus the same in our congress to look out of the majority...What we have and have had is greedy people wanting to pad their own pocket books--special interests... nearly all "politicians" lie to get elected and all have their "own" agenda/ not the american people... the qualified folks don't want to be President or Congressman...so I agree with Harem...it's definitely going to be a "first" ;however, the middle class Americans finish last as the result...
I'm usually a positive/cheerful person; however, what i've seen lately is breaking my heart...of course the hurricanes aren't helping...My state has been hit hard twice and the hurricane season still has several more weeks ahead...HOUSTON--it's similar to a bomb hitting it...which is going to cause our government a big hit in the pocket book again...something personal happened to me over the weekend...i saw the writing on the wall -- what has happened between the church and government...i'm very disappointed in both...
