star! so good to see you back around, we've sure missed you. i have to tell you though, this piece... wow, this piece. after reading it i felt like i'd just been sucker punched in my gut. this hits all the way to the bone.
First off, appologies guys... as you can see this month is running super late, a combination of the holiday hectics and back to back business travel weeks.
lonesomeday, I do have an idea in mind for that kind of system, but it's not there yet... the basic idea would be basic login functionality for the whole site, so you could browse as a user, but without limiting access for guest visitors.
Star of David: I'm not sure how I feel about gravy trains ... definately seemed more significant in the dream itself. I mean I like the idea of being aware of taking too much easy romance for granted, but I'm not sure if "making snow angels in gravy" is actually such a promising way of expressing that... come to think of it the feel is a bit more "Tom Waits" than "Paul Simon"...
B.K., about Ornament Dance: i just love you! i love the frilly, no fuss, fun way you have with words. this season, we need all the smiles that can be found... your writing has a way with that.

Kirk, about gravy trains: kirk, like you, i wasn't sure how i felt about it either. on first read, i admit i didn't 'get it' all the way through. in reading it now, i'm reflective on how we all generally take the same path to some degree of taking love (and life really) for granted. falling in love is easy (too easy), it's staying in love that is the hard part seemingly for most people. not everyone has that 'til death do us part' gene.

Gracias, chica. Unfortunately I wrote that when I was living in Texas - eons ago. Couldn't finish it if I wanted to. I just don't know those characters anymore. But thanks for the nice words! (Happy Holidays, too!)
aparajita; Thank you so much, you made me smile today from work reading what you wrote. There really is a mermaid and a moon spaceman on my tree and they are furiously flirting with one another. But you should see the Nutcracker King and Betty Boop cutting their eyes at one another on top of my computer. (They may get me to write a part two to the pagan xmas tales as there is definite charisma there too. ha)

a couple of wks ago i was in florida for a biz mtg and found a new love. pometini. OH MY GOSH!!! i am a die hard cosmo girl that is quite the cosmo snob. not every cosmo is a good cosmo. girlfriend, if you ever take a walk down those new york streets again, could i hitch a ride and get a tour of all those flavors???? please???????
