I'd challenge any Blender-ite to go to Dictionary.com, look at the word of the day and try and write a love poem from that word. That's where Bete Noire and Perfervid came from.

No, I am going to my obstetrician on November 20th, so I should have a due date then and I will keep everyone posted. Ty sooo much for the congrats and congrats to you too uncle marsh. This will be my 2nd pregnancy Chris and I already have a little girl named Natalie who is six turning seven. I am excited but scared for several reasons. He and I were separated for nine months and he has only been back in our lives since august so hopefully this child will be the light at the end of a very dark tunnel.
See when I had nattie I was only 18 and very much in love so the I was extremely innocent, I only thought of the positive, now I know what comes along with having a baby and all of the processes which can be pretty overwhelming considering we are just back together lol... I guess all you can do is take it one step at a time...

Blessed, Blakey, BK and Ali, thanks for your words. I have learned a lot about the logistics of this war from my husband, and understand a little better. And that helps. I know that he loves the fact that he feels that he's making a huuuge difference in our world as a soldier, and I respect that and honor it. He married a strong and independent woman, and we have that going for us, bottom line. And yes, B.K., the timing is horrid because he's been hugely supportive in this gut-wrenching time with my mother. The beauty of all this is that I have to present a stoic facade of strength to the rest of the world, but then get to have my moments here with you all, reading and writing and crying on my couch here for a few minutes each morning. And that, my dear friends, will sustain me. And I thank you a thousand times over for just being out there. Going to blow my nose now, thanks!
