*grin* Untamed Bird, take it from me, you don't want to hot glue gun ANYTHING to anything else... I dropped a tripod covered in hot glue onto my hand ... the worst part is you have to wait for it to go cold before you can peel it off your hand.... can you say PAINFUL.
The glue thing reminds me of that scene in "American Pie 2"...too painful to be truly funny! And I like Michael Jackson's version of "Smooth Criminal" better.
Thanks to everyone who complimented me on *Croix de guerre*...I can't even pronounce the title. The original title was *Gold Star Balloon* but I was looking through my old New World Dictionary and thought Croix de guerre sounded better and had more meaning, more oomph. My husband certainly deserves a medal for putting up with me.
The writer's challenge is posted every Friday morning at http://www.projectgreenlight.com. It's a site founded by Matt Damon and Ben Affleck for struggling screenwriters. I don't participate in the community, I just get the writer's challenge list of ten every Friday. I usually turn it into a story but I'm bored with stories so I thought I'd try to write a couple of poems using the same challenge. You have to have a user name and password to get to the boards. The writer's challenge can be found at the basic forum.
Thanks again for the compliments! I've enjoyed reading the new submissions these past couple of weeks. Lots of good stuff.

hi folks.

Man,this site is HUGE!! I found things..many things but one thing that has left me a lil' peeved.

Someone came to my site (http://www.angelfire.com/ab4/muises/suepoems4.html)and "stole" a poem. I guess it really doesnt take much, jus a lil' cut and paste, but to have your second half's words taken by a completely unisnspired surfer from Gods-knows-where..is a bit annoyning. Really, i guess i should copyright them all.

Im not laying blame on this site..i love the Blender and everyone seems to absolutely love each other...but just reading everyones poems gives me complete shivers on how bad mine actully are!! :)

take care
have a great Sunday!
Riggs ~ Younger Players I recently read through my yearbooks from jr. high, high school and college...I had the exact same feelings as in your poem. The thing that stuck out the most were all the guys who dared to write "When are we going out?" but never asked me...

Uh...I think you need to give credit to Ntozake Shange for the poem you just submitted. That's a new one...a man taking credit for a woman's poem.
To the truly clueless...People who write poetry tend to read it as well...when you claim someone else's work at a poetry site, you will probably get nailed.

Thanks Misty---and I appreciate the one up.
Some small new features for blender accounts:

* Each account now has an optional URL field for your homepage

* You can now edit your public e-mail, chat address, and URL. (For security reasons the private e-mail is not editable.)

* There's also a "I forgot my password feature". The thing is it's a link off the user account edit page... I'm not sure if that's the most userfriendly place for a novice user to see it, but whatever.

Rhetoric,
No, I don't think you're too skeptical ;-) I was just kind-of professing that I'm done with the pointless meloncholy that I was feeling, and now I'm going to embrace the true love that sits next to me... so its a waste of my time to be depressed now! :-D I'm sure theres a flower out there that needs some watering ;-)
