tj -- alas I'm not sure my work stands up well to a really deep analysis! FWIW, here are some of my thoughts.

I used logos since it's the Greek for "word," but not just in the sense of a string of letters, rather in the sense of "true" words, words that have an innate power as well as a meaning. Words, names and their power have always been an interest of mine. Have you read Ursula K LeGuin's Earthsea books? Much of the magic in them is based on the power of knowing a thing's true name, the real word for it in the Oldest Speech. Since the point of the piece is that we need more real, substantive words than two for the complexities of love and friendship, "logos" seemed apropos.

As for 724, there's nothing behind it. I tried several numbers and that one seemed to flow the best. I feel now as though I should have put more thought into it and made it more significant LOL!!

Thanks for the comments :)

Echo ~ Hey, thanks for taking the time to analyze your work a bit. I kinda figured that your number may have been somewhat random. That's not disappointing at all. Not everything has deep meaning, nor should it. Anyway, thank you.

arkguy1000 ~ Untitled was a very enjoyable bit of life to read about. I always wish to know the thoughts of others. To see a moment the way someone else is seeing it. When someone can write out a little slice of life, as you did, one that captures a moment and the thoughts that go with it, I enjoy it immensely. Thank you.
Hey yall! Been a while since I've peaked in here. Last Friday I hydroplaned on the Interstate and totaled the Jeep. Took a good knock on the head, a couple of black eyes, lots of cuts and bumps, but I'm glad no one else was involved, and after seeing the truck later, I'm happy to be alive. Wear your seatbelts everyone! I've had a good run of bad luck here lately and it can only get better. On a better note, my boyfriend is buyinng us a house, so in a few months, apartment living will be a thing of the past and I'll have a yard again! I'm already dreaming of flowerbeds...yum. Hope all is well with everyone and I'm trying to catch up on this months reading, seeing some new names and some good stuff. Take care and God bless....
Kase; Bless your heart, hope all heals fast. Thank goodness it was only the jeep and not you and yours. The house sounds wonderful. Keep us posted and hope you are feeling better.
