I certainly hope those that are in a wonderful place in their love lives have not already determined that they will never experience a time as good as this again. As for me my 'good old days' are definitely a thing of the past at this point, but no matter how lonely I am right now, I refuse to believe that i will not have plenty more 'good old days' (of love and life in general) to add to my well stocked store house...lol. |

Yep, two lips, two arms, lots of hugs and kisses, and that slow ride down the pike we do (metaphorically) in a "good old days" way for sure. 0 to 60 and we're there never made me really happy :). But sure, I'll still cook him a "good old days" apple pie just to see him lick his lips. | twiddlebug80 | No. They are not. Social norms have made that impossible. Women are too independent which has caused men to not even try anymore. I think that 'independent women' is a negative thing. Independent meaning I don't need you period. Women need to be 'free'. Free meaning I don't need you but I want you in my life. Let relationships go back to being complimentary instead of co-dependent. The good old days included courting, asking parental permission, holding hands, bringing flowers, coming to the door to get your date, respecting the other person, courteous, somewhat modest, and such. I will admit that I do not think that I would feel totally comfortable if all of the sudden life was like that but I could definitely get used to it. |
