Thank you so much for your comments on my latest. that one is very close to my heart and I wanted to share that. It's hard But I know that time will make it better. Thank you for your words. Its the greatest gift, one some take for granted, and humans are the only ones lucky enough to have it.

Man oh man. I am in Northampton, Mass right now for a meeting. I LOVE this place! You New Englanders have a good thing up here. It (the lay of the land) doesn't look all that different from WV - but it feels so much better to my skin. You can just BE here. Nobody cares that I have green hair (OK, I don't - but still, if I did).
Anyone in Northampton wanna let me hide out in thier basement? I don't want to leave. Besides, Willy Nelson is playin here on Wednesday night. I can't afford The Hotel Northampton with out this copnference rate!!!

dragonfleyes~~terra firma: discovered had some _extremely_ good descriptions(whenever you read novels, you know when you skip over some descriptions cause they drag out too long?) Well I definitely wouldn't of skipped over those two.. They were grand... However the 'poetic' repetition after the two descriptions kinda took away from the flavor...I'd think it'd be better without 'em.
Dee ~ I like that you added the bead to the end of the lariat. The final piece gets an A+ from me. By the way, I really do enjoy watching a piece in progress. My appreciation for your talent grows by leaps and bounds when I see one from start to finish. You are very talented.

Oh ya, also (beating a horse that SHOULD be shot here, but doing it anyway) I don't believe Woody Allen (director, actor, child mol...er...writer) is privy to all the information good ol' W. Bush is. I'm pretty certain Woody doesn't recieve the same extensive morning briefing as the Prez. NO ONE does for that matter. Musing on Woody...seems like my favorite writers and artists and musicians have really twisted personal lives. If we don't separate the art from the artist what do we have? A lot of Danielle Steel books and Ron Howard movies. Oh, and John Tesh cds. Scary thought.
Stephen~ Thanks for your crit on AGREEMENT. I rate that piece as one of four (posted) powerful ones of my own for hitting me with very intense feelings that take a long time to slow down and shelve after each reading. The others were Lost Soulmate, Cruising Catalina and Logistique. Hence, no poetry writer's block as I've used them as platforms to launch other pieces. I think I see you seem to do the same with some of your works as I read what you write as a whole when possible. You tweak my interest to read and go back and try to tie some works together. I had to laugh when I read your comment, Misti...when I was growing up I thought Danielle Steel books were great literature! It wasn;t until I picked one up a couple of eyars ago and tried to read it that I realized they are actually pretty horrible! I read tons of romances, so I'm not a snob about the genre, but it amazes me that she is as popular as she is. As for Ronnie Howard, well, he made "A Beautiful Mind", and I loved it...the rest I can take or leave.

Rennie~~.. Yea serious, that's exactly what most of my posts are... I gotta get the ideas down as them come..so when it comes time to create something grand, I can take ideas from different poems and mold them together into one message....I however don't post 'em here very often...
Yea I see the connections you speak off in your poems. Every steady poet on here usually spends time on certain subjects...I usually write multiple poems about different subjects(girls). It is always fun to check out a given amount of posts from people, and try to figure out if they are about the same person or not.
TJ~~You see why though right? "Mostly cries inside 'cause everybody's hating | Everybody's creating a world on a downward slide" and "He talks about a way to get it to come together | People think he's crazy so they string him up" and the topping on the cake "See his head and hands are bleeding"... Crucifixion anyone?.. heh.. You saying you didn't think about the poem in that manner at all? works so well for it.
deevaa~~ hey, whatever you do for your decorations is kewl, you are a good artist, and it's always nice to see your work.. I mean, I can't really say much in criticism because my decorations consist of whatever I think is neat and connective on a personal level...And of course so are yours. Only difference is I think I'm more conservative when I respectfully decline hanging nude portraits on the wall...even if they are examples of outstanding skill. Everyone their own I suppose ;-)
