Ditto on Freedom Bust, B.K. I took the last guy back TWICE, and I remember thinking, okay, we went through the fool me once and fool me twice stages; anything more would be a clear-cut case of masochism on my part! Onward and upward, ho!

Well, I picked up the divorce papers on April 27th. It was probably finalized a day or two before that. Precise dates only matter when it comes to anniversaries and birthdays, though. And hell yeah I'm grateful. Misti's right. The problem, however, with dysfunctional/codependent relationships is the residue they leave behind. I think Kirk's correct - what I went through (as the one left) nearly killed me. Literally. Then again, I know that Misti went through her own hell, so it works both ways. But even just three and half years can do a real a number on one's psyche. When you finally do stumble upon a healthy, nurturing relationship, the challenge is being able to appreciate it - hell, even handle it. But Belinda and I are planning on July 23, 2005 (my sister's birthday) to be married. She tells me it can take that long to plan a big wedding. By my old way of thinking, a wedding took only as long to plan as it took to arrange a trip to Vegas... Things have sure changed.

An old saying goes something like..."Stinky fish and cheating or bad relationships need to be pitched out immediately." But I know what you mean guys, you try like heck to make them work, maybe even wasting time trying to save them, but when they're gone, save yourself the grief, pitch them and don't look back.
Happy Birthday Savannah Haze!
Rens; So glad to hear that you and the Capt. are doing so fine. Will try and catch up with you sometimes this weekend.

I just wish I'd had more time to spend with the two of you (together/seperate, didn't matter). As far as emotional investments go, mine was certainly very small, and excruciatingly vicarious, but I have felt a connection to the both of you, even before you moved to/from my hometown. I wish you BOTH all the best, now and always.
Thank you so much. That was one of the most tragic flaws of our marriage...we didn't have any friends. Two people are never enough for each other. I was so happy to finally meet you. Right now I am training to be a Dell technician for Client Logic in Port Arthur. My goal is to do well at this job and move back to Albuquerque when I have the money. There is a Client Logic call center down the road from the T-Mobile where I met my boyfriend back in January. I never thought I'd miss Albuquerque but I do. I'm going crazy here in the rancid humidity of East Texas! When I move back we will have to meet up. You'll see me on TV in September. My friends are still working on "Deface the Nation," a public access television show. I should not have left. I don't have many regrets but I do regret leaving Albuquerque on a manic whim. You can e-mail me anytime. I'd love to hear from you.
